Italian style home decor is one of a kind, and it’s a kind that’s worldwide famous, of course. But when it comes to this topic, you want to know which are the best brands for this, as this category is not as famous and popular as the fashion brands. We do know, that not everyone can travel to Italy to visit showrooms. Follow along now, and let’s see what Italy has to offer when it comes to home decoration!

Immerse yourself in Italian home decoration tips here, and make sure to check our other articles about furniture brands, lighting brands, kitchenware brands, and many other categories in the home category!
1. Dolce & Gabbana Casa
We must start this list with a true icon of Italian decor, Dolce & Gabbana. We know very well the brand for its fashion rein, for their fragrances, beauty products, and colorful, unique, and magical haute couture collections. It looks like Domenico and Stefano are unstoppable because they didn’t stop their fabulous designs and prints in the fashion world.
They brought them to life in their designer pieces of home, furniture, and decoration line. I know many of you ended up here looking for Italian wall decor ideas, and let me tell you… There’s nothing more Italian than Dolce & Gabbana! Their home line is Italy itself. We had a look at their designs and the pieces they offer, and we fell in love.
So much so, that we decided to put them first on this list without hesitation! You can find anything from lamps to furniture, from mirrors to rugs with the most famous D&G prints that we’ve encountered in their fashion collections too. Oh, and these famous prints are to be found on their tableware collections too! A true heaven for a Dolce & Gabbana lover!
2. Missoni Casa
Missoni joined only recently the Italian home decor brands list, offering their own line for everything HOME. Luxury Italian brands have their own “home” lines from Fendi to Armani, and as you could already see in this article, from Dolce & Gabbana to Missoni.
Missoni first and foremost is a fashion brand, and that’s how it became known worldwide. Now, as D&G, they also created their own lines where prints and designs that we are familiar with from the fashion industry, show up on the home decor and furniture as well.
Missoni Casa offers mostly textile items for the home. They do poufs, tablecloths, plaids, rugs, and everything in between with their very unique, typical Missoni prints. They also offer candles, but pricewise, I wouldn’t recommend to buy Missoni candles for 300+ euros when you can get better quality within the next brand we’ll be talking about!
3. Mirvana
If we talk Italian style home decor, we can’t ignore the candles and home fragrances either, can we? Mirvana is one of the best Italian brands focusing on the feelings that scents and smells create. The brand was founded this year, in 2024 by Helga Dosa, and it’s an Italian brand based in Milan, the city of designs and fantastic creations.
Mirvana offers different scented candles in the most beautiful glass holders that not only make the ambiance smell fantastic, but they are also pieces of home decor that make any part of our homes stunning. What you must know about the brand is, that the fragrances are created in the United Kingdom, and they use the highest quality soy wax available on the market.
The glass holders for each scented candle differ. Their most popular pieces are the Lux Candy, which has a scent of Cashmere Vanilla and Salted Caramel, and therefore the holder is white and gold. The bold fragrance of the Femme Fatale candle guided the founder to pick the royal blue holders, and the masculine scent of the Ombre Leather candle is in beautiful black holders. Elegance and quality in one place. We can even call Mirvana the Italian Diptyque without question, but this one offers more beautiful candle jars.
4. Campomarzio 70
Design brands in Italy come in all types of shapes and forms. I personally discovered Campomarzio 70 in 2020, walking in the Brera Design District in Milan (photo taken there) and spotting this one out of many home decor stores. The prints, the pieces seen in there were something that makes those passing by stop and admire.
Campomarzo 70 is not a brand that covers only one specific brand, it’s a store collecting more products from different brands. They focus mostly on fragrances actually, but they have their accessories line with a collection from many interesting and fabulous brands.
When it comes to home decor, Fornasetti and Ginori are available on a larger scale at Campoarzio 70. You can shop their products (all of their products) online too. And, if you are in Milan, make sure to have a walk in the Brera Design District. You will find yourself surrounded by some fabulous brands and their fabulous creations too!
5. Fornasetti
Here’s another of our favorite Italian home decor brands, and it’s one that we were already hinting at before, at the Campomarzio 70 store: Fornasetti. When it comes to unique, fun but elegant, fun but outstanding, fun but grounded home decor, Italian wall decor, and home accessories, then Fornasetti does a fabulous job on every level here!
Fornasetti was founded in Milan by Piero Fornasetti. He was a multi-faced artist who created designs of precious porcelain, sophisticated furniture, and accessories that are unique and priceless. He was another representative of the so-called practical madness, where beauty and practicality meet.
The Fornasetti pieces are not cheap, therefor this brand is also for those who look for unique pieces that will carry a more elevated price tag on them. However, the pieces of decoration, table decoration, plates, homeware, and furniture will make many of you fall in love. You can access the Fornasetti pieces online too, and order directly on their website!
6. Nason Moretti
Talking about Italian decor without Murano glass would be a sin! Therefore, we added to our list one of the most amazing companies that create beautiful Murano glass pieces, Nason Moretti. The brand was born in 1923 during a time when Italian visual designs were thriving. Nason Moretti quickly became one of the leading brands in its category, and their pieces were called art on the table.
There are many designers who have worked for the brand throughout the last century, and they all contributed to the beauty of the pieces the brand has. Nason Moretti today offers everything from tableware to lighting, and decor. Since we focus on home decor, you must know that you can order their products on their official website too!
We really love Nason Moretti’s Christmas Balls, which are so unique… Imagine, Murano glass Christmas balls! Their vases are also stunning, but we especially love their candle holders, bowls, and decorative glass objects. If you want true Italian decoration in your house, having something made of Murano glass is a must!
7. Venini
Another option for Muran glasses is Venini, and if we have to choose what we like the most from the two brands we are listing on this Italian style home decor list, then our favorite will be Venini. It’s a simple matter of choice and style, not that this brand would be officially better than another. However, when it comes to home decoration ideas, we want to have options, don’t we?
For sure, the Venini products will be pricier than the Moretti ones, but the style and the focus are also different. The previous brand we listed focuses more on tableware, while Venini is more about the art of home decor: vases, bowls, and unique items like a sand glass too (fabulous sand glasses if I may say). Their Balloton Fiori vase collection is one of the most popular ones, and everything is available online too!
8. Paola C
When we speak about Italian home decor ideas, a brand that offers many different collections and visions from many fantastic designers is important. Paola C. was born through a partnership between Paola Coin and Aldo Cibic in 2000, Interestingly they were focusing on designing objects that encourage meetings between people. This is a fabulous point of view already on its own, which is why we love this brand!
Paola C. collections stand out for their intense yet refined simplicity, unique and conventional. In 2014 they added to the main collections a Stories format, which are short stories by a single designer who openly interprets the values of the brand. “A New Roman”, the first story designed by Jaime Hayon, was followed by Table Joy by Aldo Cibic, Dolce Vita by Cristina Celestino, Lunar Landscape by Elisa Ossino and Coquille by Chiara Andreatti.
If you’re in Milan, you can visit the reserved courtyard on Via Solferino 11, where the Paola C. showroom is located. This is where you can learn about the production and designs, see a changing exhibition, and find out about current items. They also have their items available online though, on their website.
9. Richard Ginori 1735
Let’s talk porcelain, shall we? Italian decor, or overall home decor can’t be complete without porcelain. Within the Italian brands, Ginori 1735 is one of the oldest and one of the best Italian porcelain manufacturers with almost 300 years of experience.
Ginori was started by Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori who later became the Manifattura di Doccia in Doccia near Florence, in the villa of the family estate. The Florentine porcelain brand up until today is delivering fabulous quality and splendid designs of Italian porcelain.
Obviously, they offer everything from tableware to vases and bowls, but they also focus a lot on their home decor pieces. They have created some fabulous decoration items that are also available online. We spent a lot of time checking their collections, and honestly, there’s too much beauty in one place when it comes to Ginori. Make sure you explore it properly!
10. Seletti
When it comes to Italian home decor brands, Seletti is one of those that like to be laud and and in the spotlight. The designs are actually based on pop culture too, and you’ll find within their collection everything from Italian wall decor to furniture and everything in between. You must remember though, that it’s not going to be something traditional. Seletti never is!
We picked this out of all home decor stores because pop art and pop culture were very strong in Italy in the 60s, and in fact the brand itself was established in 1964 too. For sure, it’s a specific part of society that prefers such pieces, but for those who love pop art, Seletti will be heaven on earth!
11. Bonacina
The history of Bonacina dates back to 1889 to Lurago d’Erba, where Giovanni Bonacina founded his business of making tables, chairs, armchairs, and other pieces of furniture. A very interesting detail about this specific brand is, that for over 100 years, they maintained a style that started with the founder and his vision.
When it comes to home decoration ideas, these chairs and furniture pieces that Bonacina offers for me are a huge favorite. It gives you that summer vibe, that feeling of sunny freedom by the beach. It is light and bright and happy. The braided pieces of furniture are both liberating and elegant, depending on what their purpose is. And this brand knows how to create fabulous pieces.
We suggest when it comes to quality home design brands check out Bonacina and their braided designs of chairs, armchairs, and sofas for indoor and outdoor too. You will find some unique designs that were chosen by the most famous luxury hotels in Italy, as well as so highly regarded people over the history.
12. Contardi
Now, an Italian home decor brands list wouldn’t be complete without one of the most fascinating lighting brands, Contardi. In Italy, the age of a company matters, because Italians believe, the older, the better quality, the more mastery. Contardi is considered a young brand, therefore, as they were founded in 2006, but they created some of the most fabulous designs since!
Today the brand is established and based in Brianza district, and it’s officially under the Made in Italy log. Contardi started from the creative genius Michele Carcano who was working for Stilnovo, one of the first companies to build a reputation as a lighting designer. Today Achille and Paola Carcano, have taken the reins of the company.
At Contardi, their force is not only the unique technology they use for their products but the fabulous designs, that we absolutely adore! Considering that Italy Best is owned by a female-run business, having only female writers, you can understand if we like a home decor brand, that’s because we have it also in our homes – and that’s because it’s so good!
13. Giorgetti
We keep going with a few more brands for Italian home decor ideas, and Giorgetti will have to be our next stop. A brand where quality, design, the treatment of the materials, and a sophisticated vision come together under one roof. The Giorgetti brand looks back to a history of over a century, originating from Brianza, as many others of the brands you’ve seen here.
Under the brand’s name, multiple designers work hard to create the most unique designs that represent a true North Italian furniture brand. The modern and classy style of the pieces attracts love as a magnet. We adore everything Giorgetti creates – and you will too, if you visit their showroom on Via della Spiga!
This is one of the most famous streets of Milan when it comes to designs of all kinds. When it comes to accessories and decoration, for our home decor stores list we added Giorgetti because they offer some fabulous pieces (which also change from time to time) of decoration and home accessories, focusing mostly on glass and sculpted pieces.
14. Bitossi Home
I know this article is about Italian style home decor, but brands that focus specifically on decoration are not enough. Therefore, we need to speak about Bitossi Home as well. A brand that looks back to over a century of history, and offers some fabulous products that are available online too for those interested in Italian tableware and plates.
Bitossi originates from Montelupo Fiorentino in Tuscany. The Bitossi factory has been owned by the founder family for 5 generations and it’s been located in the same place since 1921. Officially Bitossi since 2014 is registered as one of the Historic Italian companies offering Tuscan quality, and art.
Indeed, their products are unique and they carry beautiful designs, with beautiful stories and thoughts as well. Bitossi in my eyes is the brand that you’d want to buy a set of tableware for your family. I imagine these plates on that long Italian table, where grandparents, parents, and children all come together and share a great meal as a big family. Even looking at the products they offer warms the heart.
15. Danese Milano
Last but not least of our picks for Italian decor brands is Danese Milano. This brand is very different from what we personally prefer – which is elegance, and classy designs. Danese Milano represents the funk and funny side, the nerd designs, the creativity that captures your attention and makes you stop to double-check what you’ve seen. Unique and fun!
There’s a whole page for the many designers who worked and still work for Danese Milano, and you can have an online shop check-up as well on their websites for home decoration ideas. The brand represents innovation in home decor and accessories, as well as interesting, new designs that are different from what we are used to. Unique. So if you’re looking for unique pieces in your house, I’m sure you will love their website!
